Jerciebob Fakerpants...

Jercie celebrated her 6th birthday on Tuesday. She got a digital camera and two games for her DS Barbie Fashion Show and Toy Shop. She has been playing the Barbie one as often as she can. Well yesterday she was getting ready for school and asked if she could play before we went to the bus. I told her she could if we had time. Well we didn't have time. On the way to the stop she told me her tummy hurt. I asked if she was going to throw up. She said no. I told her she was probably hungry and once she ate breakfast she would be fine. So she got on the bus and went to school. At about 8:30 I get a call from the elementary saying Jercie was sick and needed to come home. I went and picked her up. I was feeling like a big jerk. I went to her class. Her teacher told me she wouldn't eat breakfast. I loaded her up in the truck and on the way down Joe Town Hill I looked back and she wasn't acting very sick to me. So I said," Jercie, tell me the truth, I promise I won't get mad. Are you really sick?" " You promise not to get mad?" " I promise." "Will you make me go back to school?" No I won't make you go back to school." "No I'm not really sick."

She just wanted to stay home and play the Barbie game on her DS. I let her but she had to do whatever Blaze wanted her to do. She also wasn't allowed to leave the couch until 11:00 and she had to eat toast and chicken noodle soup.

There's a salon in Joseph!!! I can't believe it. I went and got my hair cut and colored there yesterday. It is just across the street. NICE! Here are some pics. I look kinda stoned in the one front view. I guess that's what happens when you are up all night coughing. Oh well. Let me know what you think.

this picture doesn't do the hair justice.

We also finger painted the other day. Even Kaia got in on the action. She had lots of fun. Here are some pictures. The older kids decided to paint their arms as far up as they could. Little turds.

ENJOY!!

  2. I like your hair. I'm going to Mesquite for Thanksgiving so I'm going to stop in Cedar and have Lisa chop mine off and add highlights too! Since I'm going to do mine a lot like yours I better like it right?

  3. A salon in Joe Town - that is a crazy. Love the hair and the pics of the kids - you do look kind of drugged out in your pic. Jercie takes after her dad, he used to fake sick to get out of school all the time. He would stay home and play his gameboy.

  4. Hi!
I just wanted to let you know the house you are living in was once a salon. My mother owned it and my sister Nadine worked there. It had a small gift shop. My mom bought an ear piercing gun, and I was her first person whose ears she pierced after practicing on oranges. My mom did one ear and my dad did the other one. I love your house, lots of fond memories are there.
Your hair looks cute, I like it.
