Viva Las Vegas!!

Very little about Vegas excites me anymore. Having lived there for almost 5 years has kind of ruined it for me. However, in December Mike got us tickets to see Korn at the Hard Rock. To say I was nervous is a severe understatement. I was having panic attacks just thinking about it. I don't do well in large groups of people, or just out in public. I called the Dr. and had him call in my anti anxiety pills, or happy pills as I like to call them. Once I had them in my possession the panic attacks got much much better. Not because I took them, but because I knew I had them if I needed them.
Anyway, we booked a room about a month in advance at the Hard Rock. We were just going to get a regular non smoking room. When we got there the lady at check in gave us a free upgrade on our room. I kept my expectations low. I didn't really care. I was alone with Mike in a nice hotel for the night, the room didn't matter much. Until I got there...

Amazing View
We were right above the Rehab pool. It was seriously amazing. After we checked in we hung around the casino. We went back to the room to get ready for the concert, then went to eat at the Pink Taco. I didn't eat because I tend to get sick if I eat out before I go somewhere with lots of people. I know it's weird. Mike said it was really good though.
Then we headed to The Joint. We made friends with one of the security guards who told us that Korn would be doing a meet and greet around 7:20. We headed out to get shirts and concert swag. There was the table that Korn would be sitting at with a little bitty sign telling the time and whatnot. So we hurried and got in line. Soon enough here comes Jonathon Davis and Fieldy. They walked right past us and sat down at their table. Mike was so excited! He had told me earlier that if he got to meet Jonathon Davis he could die a happy man. We got to meet them and they signed a picture and shook our hands.
We got back into the concert in time to see In This Moment do a couple songs. Then Sevendust came out. They put on a really good show. Then the moment we had been waiting for... KORN! They were AWESOME! I had never been to a Korn concert before. Mike has been to 3 now. He insisted that I needed to see them. I am so glad I did. Definitely one of the best concerts ever. Disturbed closed the show. Mike and I were both disappointed. Mike so much so he left early. He said he would be out in front of The Joint.
When the show ended I went to find him. He wasn't where he said he would be so I figured he went back to the room. On my way there I saw Mike and a little group of people outside of one of the bars. He pointed and there was the lead singer for Sevendust. I went over and told him I would love a picture with him. He said okay and asked my name and where my camera was. I got Mike and he took the pic. I told him what an awesome job they did and left. Mike turned to me and said, "you're going to kill me. My phone was on camcorder!" Dang! So I have absolutely no proof whatsoever that I met him. I swear I did!
We went back to the room and showered to get the smell of cigarettes and beer off of us. By this time it was about 3 in the morning. I was climbing into bed when Mike says, "You know what sounds good? Chicken soft tacos from Del Taco". I was like, "Heck yeah they do!"
So at 3 in the morning Mike headed to Del Taco. We sat in bed and ate our tacos and watched Tomb Raider. It was nice.
The next morning we got up and packed and headed out of town. We missed our babies...
