Wanna See What I Can Do?

Kaia is sitting up now. She just started last night. I can't believe how fast she is growing. I still put pillows around her because occasionally she can't catch herself before she falls. She is also getting 2 teeth on the bottom. She deals with it pretty well, but gets kinda fussy at times. She got to have some oatmeal the other day and prefers that to the rice. Who can blame her really? I think I am going to start sweet potatoes around Thanksgiving. I thought it was appropriate. Haha. She is funny. I wish I could better describe her personality. She is very ticklish. Instead of laughing though she just screams. It's hilarious and very noisy!!!

We celebrated Jercie's birthday on Saturday. We just had Aunt Telly and her 4 kids, and of course Grammy and Papa Clint over for cake and ice cream. Then 3 of Shantel's kids stayed for a sleep over. I think the kids had fun. They were all really good. I didn't have to referee any fights or anything. I put in Iron Man and they crashed on my living room floor. The last kid finally fell asleep around midnight. The first kid awake was Jercie. At about 7:00 the next morning she came in wanting breakfast. I made them waffles. Frozen. I'm good, but not that good. lol. I sent the other kids up to grammy's while I got my family ready for church. We only went to Sacrament because Mike had just got home from graveyard and was tired.
We are heading to Alamo for Thanksgiving. We are leaving Wednesday afternoon after my nail appointment. I love Thanksgiving. It's probably my favorite holiday.

That is all I can think of for now. Buh-bye.

  1. I can't believe she is sitting - what a big girl! Crazy how fast they grow. Love the cake, it looks yummy. We can't wait to see you guys - Benjamin is so excited to play with his cousins and he talks nonstop about "Baby Kaia"!

  2. What a big girl! Jess was relieved for Colin to finally get his first two teeth last week! He'll be 1 at the first of January!
