The DR.

I went to the Doctor yesterday. She said I probably just overdid it and that I should take the next two weeks off of work. I am kind of following orders. I only plan on working like 6 or 8 hours a week until I see her again. I just don't want to make everybody else here have to work twice as hard to cover my butt. Other than that everything looks good. I am only measuring slightly bigger now and Kaia is measuring a little smaller but it's normal. I have gained a total of 15 pounds so far. Hopefully Dr. Winward will still let me go to Jason and Leslie's wedding. That's all for now.

The Weekend

It seems like forever since I posted. Let's see... on Friday I went to Labor and Delivery here at Sevier Valley Medical. I started bleeding Thursday so my doc told me to go on over. I am so glad I am not delivering this baby there. They were not very friendly and made me feel like I had no right to be there since my doctor was in St. George. Any way they hooked me up to the monitors to do a non stress test. I wasn't having any contractions. They sent me over to ultrasound and Kaia looks good. She is measuring about 2 lbs 3 oz. We got a really cute pic of here with her mouth open. I have to go see Dr. Winward tomorrow to make sure everything is still good. I am sure I just over did it with trying to get the house cleaned up. 

On Saturday we went over to Delta for Mike's race. He did really good for his first race. He finished 10th out of 13. The wind blew the whole time we were there it was terrible. I was pretty excited that they had a 7-11 there so we stopped and got a Slurpee. I have been craving one since I got pregnant. That was the best part of the whole trip.

We didn't do much on Sunday. Mike helped me finish laundry and get the kitchen cleaned up. The kids played outside even though the wind blew all day. 

Well that is the update on us. Hopefully I will get good news tomorrow at the doc. 

Not much new.

There isn't much new going on here. I just thought I would post a couple new pictures of the kids. Blaze has decided he doesn't want a baby sister so he told me that the baby in his belly is a baby brother and Kaia's new name according to him is Baby Wah Wah. He cracks me up. Jercie tells Kaia goodnight every night before bed and kisses my belly. It is super cute. Mike started a new thing with them where he "bowls" with them. He grabs them by one arm and one leg and slides them across the kitchen floor. I am going to set up some pins tonight and see if they can knock them down. The kids love it and beg him to keep doing it. It kills me.  Here are the pictures.
I couldn't get the next picture to rotate. Sorry!!Here is a video of Jercie helping Blaze ride her bike. He can't pedal yet so she was pulling him down the street. I was in the house when she started I just happened to check on them and this is what I saw! Too Cute!!

Dr. Appointment

The appointment went well. I learned that I can eat 3 boxes of girl scout cookies in a month and only gain 6 pounds. Kaia must have gotten the most of it because I am measuring about 2 weeks bigger. Oh well maybe this time around I will have a normal sized baby. Everything else looks good. I have to do the glucose test next month. Blah I hate it. Mike has almost got Blaze's room all done. Well as far as the walls and electrical goes. We will still have to do carpet and paint. It's getting there though. I am so glad that he is handy around the house. He also built a step from the sliding glass door which will help with me getting bigger by the day. The kids are both growing up way too fast. Jercie has the attitude of a fourteen year old. And Blaze is just happy to be around daddy. He gets super excited to see Mike everyday. I don't even get a hello when I walk in the door but Mike usually gets hugs and kisses. Oh well I guess that's what happens when your the mom.
