Fame!

Last night was Jercie's dance recital. She was a little nervous but I was able to calm her down. Too bad nobody was there to calm me down. I was a nervous wreck! I finally calmed myself down by the time they got started.

They did their lyrical dance first. It was to Dreaming of You. She is the one standing on the left side at the beginning. I have to apologize for the poor video and sound quality of the videos. I was using my mom's point and shoot since I don't have an actual video camera.



Their second dance was jazz. They did it to Throw Your Hands Up. She is on the front right side. She gets a little confused toward the end of the dance.



I am very proud of her. She has decided she wants to try hip hop next year. I tried to convince her to do that this last year, but she refused. Once she saw the hip hop dancers at rehearsal she changed her mind. She also wants to take summer classes. I'm glad we've found something she loves to do.

Kaia was having a ball dancing to the music. I wish I could have gotten video of it.

Blaze was dancing too. I told him I would put him in the hip hop class but he doesn't want to. I think he would be a good little dancer so I will keep trying to convince him :)

The Most Awesome Boy Alive!!

5 years ago they placed this amazing, beautiful, crazy little boy in my arms.

The day we got home from the hospital

He had a bit of a rough start.

 But was soon home snoozing with daddy

Before his 1st birthday he broke his femur

Before I knew it he was walking

Then I turned around and he was starting preschool...

From his very first breath Blaze has been such an easy going happy kid. I can't believe he's already 5! I'm honored to be his mommy.

I may have spoken too soon.

So the weather is finally starting to warm up, but it could be teasing us again. Who knows? We went outside yesterday and the kids played on the swing set and the lawn mower that Mike got for FREE. He has to fix it though.

We went outside again today. When it was time to come in Kaia didn't want to (yet again). So I started walking in the house. She didn't follow. The other kids were outside with her so I came in. I was picking up the kitchen and the other 2 came in. I went out to check on Kaia and bring her in and this is what I found.

That's right. She took her shoes, pants and diaper off. I asked her what she was doing and why she was naked. She yelled "I peed!" Sure enough there was a wet spot in the sand by her clothes. Man I love that kid. Last night when I was changing her diaper I asked if she was going to wear diapers forever and she said "Forever and ever!"

And that's why it's still snowing in Utah. I'm seriously getting depressed. It's May for crying out loud! I need some SUN!!!

I have seriously been really cranky when it comes to posting on this thing. I don't know what my deal is. I have completely started this post over like 3 4 times already. I'm drawing a blank.

Let's see if we can make my life a little more interesting. I am going to try hard this week to do something spectacular so that I will have something AMAZING to post next week. Give me some ideas of what we should do so that you don't click over here thinking I have something important to say only to discover that I'm a loser 'kay! I am depending on you, don't let me down!!! Seriously...
