There is a season.

And it's the season for goodbyes at our house. We will be saying goodbye to summer here in a couple weeks. I will be saying goodbye to my Kindergartener and hello to my First Grader. I will also say goodbye to my little boy, and hello to my big preschooler.

Bye the time school starts Kaia will no longer have a bottle. I know she doesn't need one, and I've been trying for a month to get rid of it. Any progress I make with it, Mike undoes though. He loves to give her a bottle, and like me, he's not quite ready for our baby to grow up. It has to happen eventually and I'm just not willing to have a 2 year old with a bottle. So goodbye bottles we will all miss you :)

Mike told me that I can only do one of them at a time. Since she uses the binky to go to sleep, I figured I would give her one more month with that. So by the end of September the binkies will be gone. She is down to one, as I refuse to buy new ones. Hopefully this sucker makes it that long.

The dog got a hold of it and chewed it up. I cannot for the life of me find any of her other 5 binkies. They are lost. At least until we get past the hard part of taking them away, then we will find all of the lost binkies. Wish us luck. We may need it in the weeks to come :)
