12 Days of Christmas A.R.K. Version
This year I am going to do the 12 days of Christmas. I'm doing it a little differently however. I am doing Acts of Random Kindness (A.R.K.). Starting today I am going to do different things for my kids everyday until Christmas. We are going to make cookies one day, have a pajama day, pick what mom wears day, and other silly things. On the last day I am going to give them the opportunity to DO a random act of kindness for one of the neighbors. I thought this would help them understand what the Christmas Spirit is. Next year I will give them the reins and they will do acts of kindness for each other. When they get older we will do it for the neighborhood.

I like your 12 days of Christmas idea. Didn't you think Edward got cuter as the movie progressed though?
ReplyDeleteSee, there was something creepy about Jasper that I couldn't get past...I'm thinking it was the hair and the eyes...
ReplyDeleteSee I thought Jasper looked like a zombie- and he didn't really do anything. Emmett was cute though, I thought they did a good job portraying him- maybe you are thinking of him. Edward was ok,in my head he was A LOT hotter! But that's how movies are- never as good as you imagination. Cute idea for the twelve days of Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI want to see Twilight, but with my luck I won't get to see it till it comes out on DVD, then I'll buy it. The 12 days of Christmas is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteCute Christmas tradition! I think that is fun and it puts the focus on doing things with the kids, rather than all the hustle and bustle of other preprations--Great idea! thank you
ReplyDeleteI probably won't make it to the Movie Theather so I will have to wait for it to come out on DVD!
ReplyDeleteCute christmas Idea!
